Come to the College Hill Farm Market for fresh, local produce for your Labor Day picnic! Tomatoes are at their prime, so think about caprese salad, tabouli, BLTs, tomato sandwiches or making home made pasta sauce! There should also be lots of sweet corn, beans, peppers, zucchini, onions, garlic, beets, melons and a wide variety of heirloom and hybrid tomatoes.
We also have vegan cookies, baked goods, soap products, meats, and eggs.
Food Demonstration This Week
This week will be the last food demonstration of this market season. At 4:00, Chef Rhonda Marcotte will create a pan-roasted corn salad with tomatoes and feta and a black bean salad with tomatoes. Stop by to watch this creative chef and conjure up some great dishes. Once you have sampled them, you will want to try them yourself! Her food truck, Sunny Side Brunch, will be back at the market on September 8th.
The Market is open into October
While market activities wind down after Labor Day, the market is open every Thursday from 3-6:30 well into October depending on the weather. Our vendors are starting to have fall products such as apples and butternut squash so stop by every week to see what is in season.
